On 15 April 2024, at about 12 00, Myit Kyi Nar district fire department received a report indicating that a fire had broken out at the U kyaw Swar Linn’s (20x20) house located at the Myint Nyein Aye road, Zone 4, Lankone quarter, Myitkyinar township, Myitkyinar district, Kachin state. It was investigated that fire started from the residue of the cooking place and spread the nearby wall. Upon the information, fire engines from fire stations in Kachin state fire department and auxiliary fire station were sent to the fire and the fire was completely extinguished at 12 30. Due to the fire, 2 houses were lost. It is learned that the No (2) local police station has opened a case (pa) 98/2024 under the section 285 of the Penal Code against the U Kyaw Swar Linn, the owner of the house for his negligence.
