On 11 February 2024, at about 11 10, a car overturned at Tuyintaung Mountain road, Konetangyi Village Tract, Nyaung Oo Township, Mandalay Region. It was reported that the HYUNDAI (yellow) vehicle driven by driver U San Htay at Tuyintaung Mountain Road overturned due to the brake failure and hit to the cliff. Upon the information, the fire services personnel and auxiliary fire members from Nyaung Oo District fire station with an administrative vehicle and a search & rescue vehicle responded to the accident. The operation was completed at 12 20. Following the incident, 5 passenger were injured and they were transported to the hospital by the ambulance of Bagan Social Association. It is learned that Nyaung Oo Township police station has opened a case under the section 38/337/279 of the Penal Code (Pa) 5/2024 against the driver, U San Htay.
