30 Dec 2022 at about 08 09 am, a house fire broke out at the upper location. This house was owned  by the owner Daw Saibu. The fire broke out due to phone battery overload while charging  and spread to the    bamboo shelter. The fire was extinguished by a firefighting engine, a water bowser wih15 fire services personnel from Bamaw Township Fire Station using 35L Foam extinguisher and 4 DCP 4kg  fire extinguishers and 2,400 gallons of water. At about 08 45 am, the fire was completely out. Due to the fire (30x30) storey building was burned. The owner Daw Saibu was opened against file in accordance with 285, (Pa) 219/2022 of the Code of Criminal Procedure by Bamaw Myoma Police Station.
