On March 25, 2025, at approximately 1:10 PM, a wildfire broke out near Office No. 21 (Ministry of Science and Technology), Office No. 23 (Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief, and Resettlement), and Office No. 39 (Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation) in Ottara Thiri Township, Naypyidaw. According to the report, firefighters from Ottara Thiri district, township, and local fire stations extinguished the fire with three fire engines. The fire was successfully extinguished by 3:51 PM.
