On March 20, 2025, at around 2:00 PM, a fire prevention demonstration was conducted at "Myoma Market" in Minbu Town, Magway Region, to prevent fire hazards. During the drill, various fire extinguishing techniques were demonstrated, including using fire trucks to put out fires, utilizing fire extinguishers, and cutting off oxygen to extinguish oil fires. Additionally, informational pamphlets were distributed, and fire plugs and electrical wiring within the market were inspected for durability. The drill was carried out by members of the Minbu District Fire Station’s firefighting team, in collaboration with relevant organizations, along with market vendors.
