Fire Services Department is actively carrying out its four main responsibilities: fire safety acivity, natural disaster prevention activity, search and rescue activity, and social welfare activity. As part of its commitment to social welfare activity, the department has been donating drinking water to areas facing water shortages. On March 19, 2025, at around 9:00 AM, firefighters from the Taung Zin Township Fire Station in Nyaung-U Township, Mandalay Region, donated 3,200 gallons of drinking water by using two fire department water tankers to households in Kan Sount Village, Taung Zin Township, which was experiencing a shortage of drinking water.
