On February 3, 2025, at approximately 11:15 AM, a karaoke room fire broke out at the corner of Maha Bandula Road & Sinphyushin Road, Tapaing Shwe Htee Ward, Dala Township, Yangon Region. A fire broke out in a 15x15 ft karaoke room on the first floor (left side) of the four-story RC building housing the "Taw Win Nyan Si" high-class guesthouse and "Mi Thar Su" karaoke bar, owned by Daw U Hma Lin. The fire started due to air conditioner Safe Guard  overheating. According to the report, firefighters from Dala Township Fire Station, including with volunteer firefighters, extinguished with 3 fire engines and 1 water bowser. The fire was successfully extinguished by 11:56 AM. Due to the fire broke out, electrical wiring inside the karaoke room a set of sofas, a karaoke machine were destroyed. The owner Daw U Hma Lin has been charged under Section 285 of the Penal Code by Dala Township Police Station (Case No. Pa 17/2025).
