On October 1, 2024, at approximately 3 00 AM, a Tamarind tree measuring about 40 feet in height and 3 feet in circumference fell due to the heavy rain at the Mahaaungmyay Aknok Yatkwat, Mahaaungmyay township, Mandalay region. The tree fell down onto the road and blocked the way. Upon receiving the report, fire fighters from Mahaaungmyay township fire station, Yandanabumi auxiliary fire station were dispatched to the scene for clearance operations. The operation was completed at 4 15 PM. It was confirmed that there were no injuries or property damage resulting from this incident.
