In Tharsi Township, Mandalay Region, due to heavy rainfall, flooding occurred but had subsided by September 30, 2024. At 10:00 AM that day, in the grounds of the Buddhist monastery in Auk Kone Village, Auk Kone Village Tract, personnel from the Mandalay Region Fire Services Department Headquarters and Tharsi Township Fire Station, along with auxiliary firefighters, collaborated with local villagers to assist with cleanup efforts. Using two fire engines, they cleared remaining mud and debris and carried out garbage removal. The operations were completed by 12:00 noon.
