On September 29, 2024, after floodwaters had receded following heavy rainfall in Kalaw Township, Shan State, cleanup operations were carried out in the compound of Basic Education High School No. 1 in Ward 4. Starting at 7:00 AM, fire services personnel from the Kalaw Township Fire Station, including firefighters and auxiliary members, assisted in clearing residual mud and transferred school desks. Using two fire engines, the team completed their tasks by 1:30 PM.
