On September 27, 2024, at approximately 12:33 PM, a fire broke out at "Mahar Lin Htet" Construction Materials Factory that located at No. 98 Ward, Makkhara Minthar Gyi Road, Industrial Zone (2), Dagon Seikkan Township, Yangon Region. The fire started in a (20x60)foot glue powder grinding machine room within the (300x300)foot, single-story steel structure building. The fire was caused by overheating of the motor in a Jwell brand glue powder grinding machine. Firefighters from  Yangon Region Fire Stations cooperated with auxiliary firefighters, responded with one administration vehicle, eight fire engines, eight water bowsers, and one support vehicle. The fire was extinguished by 1:08 PM. Due to the fire broke out,  one Jwell brand glue powder grinding machine and other glue-related components were damaged. U Moe Thet Aung, the grinding machine supervisor, has been charged under Section 285 of the Penal Code by the Dagon Seikkan Township Police Station under Case No. (Pa) 459/2024.
