On September 23, 2024, at approximately 7:17 AM, a 55-foot-tall toddy palm tree with a circumference of about 4 feet fell due to soil erosion caused by heavy rainfall.Due to the tree fallen, the Minbu-Saku Road was blocked at Minbu Township, Minbu District, Magway Region. According to the report, firefighters from the Saku Township Fire Station collaborated with other relevant organizations to carry out clearance operations using one fire engine. The operations were completed by 8:30 AM. Due to the tree fallen, no one was injured.
