On August 11, 2024, at around 09 44 AM, a fire broke out at the two story steel structure building, measuring 10x60 feet, with a zinc roof, belonging to Daw Thi Thi Oo in Paw San Mway road, No 68 Ward, Dagon Myothi (Seikkan) Township, Yangon Region. The fire started from the overheated wiring system from the water pump motor. Upon receiving the report, firefighters from Dagon Myothit fire station with the auxiliary fire fighters responded the fire with one fire engines  one water bowser. The fire was extinguished by 09 55 AM. The fire resulted in the destruction of one TV and two sofas. Additionally, one man and two women sustained minor burns (non-life-threatening). The owner, Daw Thi Thi Oo, has been charged under sections 285/337 of the Penal Code by the Dagon Myothit (Seikkan) Township Police Station with case number (Pa) 400/2024.
