Around 4:45 PM on August 1, 2024, a Tamarind tree measuring about 30 feet in height and 4 feet in circumference fell due to the heavy rain at the No(9) quarter, Myingyan township, Myingyan district, Mandalay region. The tree fell down onto the road and blocked the way. Upon receiving the report, fire fighters from Myingyan township/ district fire stations were dispatched to the scene for clearance operations. The operation was completed at 5 35 PM. It was confirmed that there were no injuries or property damage resulting from this incident.
