On July 28 at about 11 25, due to heavy rain, a tamarind tree about 15 feet tall and 24 feet in circumstance fell down near the Ye Man Aung Pagoda, Kannar Road, Thayat Town, Magway region. Upon receiving the report, fire fighters from Thayat township fire station, along with the rescue truck, were dispatched to the scene for the clearance operation. The operation was completed at 12 20 PM. It was confirmed that there were no injuries or property damage resulting from the incident.
