On June 15, 2024, at approximately 3:25 PM, a tamarind tree about 50 feet tall and 5 feet in circumference fell due to heavy rain, causing a road blockage on Main Road, Ward (15), Taungoo City, Bago Region. Upon receiving the report, firefighters and auxiliary firefighters from the Mingala Taungnyunt Township Fire Station, along with one search and rescue vehicle, were dispatched to the scene for clearance operations. The operations were completed at 05 00 PM. It was confirmed that there were no injuries or property damage resulting from this incident.
