On May 23, 2024, at around 8:42 AM, it was reported that a tamarind tree approximately 40 feet tall and 6 feet in circumference fell onto the staff dormitory of the "Shwe Tharaphu" teahouse, located on Naga Pwat Taung Road, Ward No. 1, Minbu Township, Magway Region. The dormitory is a single-story building measuring 10x10 feet, with a thatched roof and bamboo flooring. Upon receiving the report, firefighters from Minbu District/Township fire stations responded with an administrative vehicle to carry out the cleanup operations. The cleanup was completed by 10:00 AM, with no reported injuries or property damage resulting from the incident.
