On 18.5.2023 at about 18 30, Taunggyi township fire station was reported that fire broke out at house located at the above mentioned place. It was investigated that the fire started from the overheated power bank plugged in at the upper floor. Upon the information, total of 10 fire engines with 51 fire fighters and 30 auxiliary fire fighters responded to the fire. The fire was completely extinguished at 18 50.Due to the fire, the upper floor of the 2 storey building and some plastic items were burnt. It is known that Taunggyi township police station has opened a case under the section 285 of the Penal Code against the owner.
