At approximately 11:15 a.m. on 7 July 2026, a flamboyant tree (Delonix regia), measuring approximately 4 feet in circumference and 50 feet in height, was uprooted and fell across Post Office Road, Ward No. (19), Taungoo Township, Bago Region, obstructing traffic. Upon receiving the report, firefighters from the Taungoo Township Fire Station responded to the scene with one fire engine and carried out clearance operations. The operation was completed successfully at approximately 12:23 p.m. No injuries or casualties were reported, and no property damage was sustained as a result of the incident.
