At approximately 2:34 p.m. on 5 July 2026, a  tree had fallen onto a house after the ground became unstable due to heavy rainfall. The incident occurred on Cherry Road, Kamakasit Ward, Dala Township, Yangon Region. Upon receiving the report, firefighters and auxiliary firefighters from the Dala Township Fire Station, in coordination with the relevant authorities, responded with one rescue vehicle and carried out tree clearance operations. The operation was completed successfully at approximately 2:52 p.m. As a result of the incident, the left side of the roof ( with tarpaulin walls was damaged. No injuries or casualties were reported.
