At approximately 6:08 a.m. on 4 July 2026, a report was received that a Toyota Ipsum vehicle (grey colour) owned by U Kyaw Htike Aung (33 years old), which was parked inside the compound of No. 1269, Shwe Hintha (3rd) Street, Ward (20), Dagon Myothit (South) Township, Yangon Region, had caught fire. The fire started when a flame emerged from the ignition switch while starting the vehicle engine and spread to the electrical wiring system. Upon receiving the report, firefighters and auxiliary firefighters from the Dagon Myothit (South) Township Fire Station responded with one fire engine and carried out firefighting operations. The fire was successfully extinguished at approximately 6:17 a.m. As a result of the fire, the interior cushions, side windows, rear window, and electrical wiring of the vehicle were damaged and destroyed by fire. Legal action has been taken against the vehicle owner, U Kyaw Htike Aung (33 years old), by the Dagon Myothit (South) Myoma Police Station under Case No. (P) 765/2026, in accordance with Section 285 of the Penal Code.
