On June 11, 2026, at approximately 10:05 AM, a fire broke out at a (20x30)-foot, single-story, zinc-roofed, zinc-walled house in Ward (5), Ming Naung Town, Kyethi Township, Loilem District, Shan State. The house was owned by U Sai Nandaw (32-year old). The fire started when a pot of water left boiling over a firewood stove while the owner was away at the farm spread to a nearby woodpile. Upon receiving the report, firefighters from the Ming Naung Local Fire Station deployed one fire engine and one water bowser to extinguish the fire. The fire was completely extinguished at 10:17 AM. Due to the fire, the (20x30)-foot, single-story, zinc-roofed, zinc-walled house was destroyed by the fire. It is reported that the owner, U Sai Nandaw (32), has been charged by the Ming Naung Local Police Station under Case No. (Pa) 10/2026, Section 285 of the Penal Code.
