On June 11, 2026, at approximately 11:37 AM, due to heavy rainfall, a water neem tree measuring about 3 feet in circumference and 30 feet in height uprooted and fell within the Myanmar Radio and Television (MRTV) compound, located on Yangon-Pyay Road, Ward (7), Kamayut Township, Yangon Region. Upon receiving the report, firefighters from the Kamayut Township Fire Station deployed one fire engine to conduct clearing operations. The operation was successfully completed at 12:32 PM. It is reported that there were no casualties or property damage resulting from the incident.
