On May 31, 2026, at approximately 2:00 PM, due to heavy rainfall, a tree, measuring approximately eight feet in circumference and 35 feet in height, fell beside the Salin-Sin Phyu Kyun Road in Myin Tin Ward, Salin Township, Magway Region. Upon receiving the report, firefighters from the Salin Township Fire Station deployed with one firefighting vehicle to conduct clearance operations. The operations were successfully completed by 3:30 PM. Due to the accident, one telecom pole was damaged. It is reported that there were no casualties.
