On May 29, 2026, at approximately 1:20 PM, due to heavy rainfall, a tree, measuring approximately three feet in circumference and 20 feet in height, fell and obstructed GE Road in Tat Gyi Kone Village Tract, Hmawbi Township, Yangon Region. Upon receiving the report, firefighters from the Hmawbi Township Fire Station deployed with one firefighting vehicle to conduct clearance operations. The operations were successfully completed by 2:19 PM. It is reported that there were no casualties or property damage resulting from the incident.
