At approximately 4:40 PM on May 16, 2026, a decayed cotton tree, measuring about 3 feet in circumference and approximately 30 feet in height, collapsed and blocked the road on Kandawgyi Circular Road, Ward (6), Pyin Oo Lwin Township, Mandalay Region. According to the report, firefighters from the Pyin Oo Lwin Township Fire Station responded with one fire engine to carry out clearance operations. The operation was successfully completed at approximately 5:02 PM. It was reported that there were no injuries resulting from the incident.
