On May 12, 2026, at approximately 10:00 AM, a tree measuring roughly one foot in circumference and 20 feet in height fell and blocked the road in Ward (5), Kyaung Gyi Su Quarter, Taunggyi Township, Shan State.Upon receiving the report, firefighters from the Taunggyi Township Fire Station and auxiliary firefighters responded to the scene with one fire engine and carried out clearing operations. The operation was successfully completed by 10:30 AM.Due to the incident, three concrete utility poles used for telephone lines were damaged. No injuries were reported.
