On 8 May 2026, at approximately 8:00 a.m., due to strong winds a tree fell down on the road and the road was blocked at Ward No. (15),   Myoma Road, Pakokku Township, Magway Region. Upon receiving the report, firefighters from the Pakokku Township Fire Station responded with one fire engine and carried out clearance operations. The operation was completed at 9:30 a.m. It is reported that there were no injuries resulting from the incident.
