At around 12:10 a.m. on October 12, 2025, a fire broke out at the one-story house that owned by Daw Aye Lay Mu, located on Khine Ne Win Street, Ward No. 7, Maubin Town, Maubin District, Ayeyarwady Region. The fire started when rice being cooked in an aluminum pot overheated and ignited the nearby bamboo wall. Upon receiving the report, firefighters from the Maubin Township Fire Station, along with auxiliary firefighters responded to the scene with two fire engines and one water bowsers. The fire was successfully extinguished at around 12:20 a.m. Due to the fire 3 houses were destroyed. The house owner, Daw Aye Lay Mu  was opened against the file of  Maubin Myoma Police Station opened Case No. (Pa) 205/2025 under Section 285 of the Penal Code.
