At approximately 1:50 AM on August 5, 2025, a car fire broke out in a HYUNDAI COUNTY vehicle parked inside the compound of "Ye Yint" fuel station, located at the corner of Nawarat Street and Hninsi Street, Ward (10), Pyin Oo Lwin Township, Mandalay Region. According to reports, the fire started due to a short circuit caused by wires connected from the battery container inside the vehicle, which overheated and exploded. Upon receiving the report, firefighters from the Pyin Oo Lwin District/Township Fire Station responded with two fire engines and one water bowser. The fire was successfully extinguished at 1:55 AM. The fire resulted in the destruction of various items inside the HYUNDAI COUNTY vehicle. The vehicle owner, U Aung Khant, has been charged under Section 285 of the Penal Code with Case No. (Pa)162/2025 by the Pyin Oo Lwin Township Police Station.
