On April 14, 2025, at around 10:47 a.m, a fire broke out in a (15x10)-foot kitchen belonging to U Aung Ko in Min Hla Village, Hsai Ywa Village Tract, Singu Township, Mandalay Region. The fire reportedly started due to an overheated electric rice cooker. Upon receiving the report, firefighters from the Singu Township Fire Station, in coordination with relevant organizations, responded to the scene with one fire engine and two water bowsers. The fire was successfully extinguished at 11:08 a.m. Due to the fire, a (15x10)-foot kitchen structure, one Nissan ADvan vehicle, were completely destroyed. The police have opened a case against the owner, U Aung Ko, under Section 285 of the Penal Code at the Singu Township Palate Area Police Station under case number (P)15/2025.
