On 1 August 2026, at approximately 10:13 a.m, a large branch measuring approximately 2 feet in circumference and 20 feet in length broke off from a banyan tree near Gway Cho Village on the Gway Cho–Kyaukpadaung Road, Chauk Township, Magway Region, blocking the roadway. Upon receiving the report, firefighters from the Chauk Township Fire Station and Gway Cho Area Fire Station, together with one fire engine, responded to the scene. In coordination with the relevant organizations, they carried out clearance operations and successfully removed the fallen branch, completing the operation at approximately 11:00 a.m.
