On June 10, 2026, at approximately 12:22 PM, due to heavy rainfall, a mango tree (measured around 6 inches in circumference and 30 feet in height) and a betel nut tree (measured around 6 inches in circumference and 35 feet in length) fell and blocked Tagaung (1) Street in No. 5 Ward, South Okkalapa Township, Yangon Region. Upon receiving the report, firefighters from the South Okkalapa Township Fire Station and auxiliary fire brigade members responded with one fire engine to conduct clearance operations. The operation was successfully completed at 12:55 PM. There were no casualties or property damage reported in this incident.
