On May 13, 2026, at approximately 2:30 PM, two Mezalin trees, each measuring about 1.5 feet in circumference and approximately 20 feet in height, fell and blocked the road on Aung Myay Thitsar Road, Kan Kaw Housing, Zambuthiri Township, Nay Pyi Taw. According to the report, firefighters from the Zambuthiri Township Fire Station, Central Fire Station, and Hluttaw Local Fire Station responded with three fire engines to carry out clearance operations. The operations were successfully completed at 3:59 PM.It was reported that there were no injuries caused by the incident.
