On 12 March 2026, at about 09:00 a.m., fire safety and fire prevention awareness activities were conducted for the staff of the General Administration Department in Mon State. The activities were led by the Head of the Mon State Fire Sercies Department, Director U Myo Win, and the Mawlamyine District Fire Staff Officer, U Myint Oo, together with members of the Myanmar Fire Services Department. They delivered a fire safety awareness talk to the staff and conducted a practical demonstration of fire extinguishing using fire extinguishers.
