At around 6:30 a.m on October 14, 2025, due to weak roots, a tamarind tree  fell  down on the house at  Electricity Office Street, Yone Gyi Ward, Monywa Township, Sagaing Region. The branches fell onto the two-story (25x25) ft galvanized iron-roofed house owned by U Kyaw Zin Moe. Upon receiving the report, firefighters from Monywa District Fire Station were dispatched with one search and rescue vehicle to carry out clearing operations. The operation was completed at around 4:00 p.m. It was confirmed that there were no casualties or property damage resulting from the incident.
