At approximately 2:30 p.m. on October 13, 2025, a coconut tree fell down due to softened ground caused by rainfall on the brick wall at  Nga Moe Yeik Ward, Section (5), Nga Moe Yeik (3) Street, Thingangyun Township, Yangon Region. According to  the report, firefighters and auxiliary fire members from the Thingangyun Township Fire Station responded to the scene with one fire engine to carry out clearing operations. The operation was completed at around 3:30 p.m. Due to the fallen tree,  a brick compound wall (6 ft long and 7 ft high) and one (8 x 10 ft) brick-walled extension were damaged. No injuries or casualties were reported.
