On 2 September 2025, at about 8:30 a m, due to flooding inside the classrooms of Basic Education Middle School (Ywar Thit) in Anawrahta Ward, Tatkon Township, Nay Pyi Taw, sludge and debris had accumulated. Firefighters from Tatkon Township Fire Station, together with auxiliary firefighters by using one fire truck and two portable fire pump, in cooperation with the relevant organizations, carried out cleaning and washing operations. The operations were completed at 11:45 a m.
