On 30 August 2025, at around 7:30 AM, a coconut tree approximately 5 feet in circumference and about 45 feet tall, fell onto a residential house on Pan Chan Road, Ward No. (2), Pathein Township, Ayeyarwady Region, due to heavy rainfall. According to the report, firefighters from Pathein Township Fire Station, including both regular and auxiliary members, were dispatched with one fire truck to carry out clearance operations. The operation was successfully completed at around 1:30 PM. It was confirmed that no casualties or injuries occurred in the incident.
