On August 27, 2025, at about 11:20 a m, a teak tree  fell inside the precinct of Taung Yoe Taik Monastery, located on U Oh Bar Street, Ward No. (1), Minbu Township, Magway Region, due to heavy rainfall. According to the report, firefighters from Minbu District/Township Fire Stations were dispatched with one fire truck to carry out clearing operations. The operation was completed at around 12:50 p.m. It was confirmed that no casualties or injuries occurred as a result of the incident.
